Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump is one of the oldest, largest and best preserved buffalo jumps ever to be found. The museum grounds include the remains of marked trails and an aboriginal camp where vast quantities of buffalo skeletons can still be found as evidence of a custom practiced by aboriginal peoples of the North American plains for nearly 6,000 years.
